Shaker & Spear is all about seafood paired with fresh, regional ingredients. We invite you to enjoy a meal in a neighborly atmosphere set among one of Seattle's coolest neighborhoods, Belltown. Shaker + Spear features market fresh, decidedly innovative fare focused on local sourcing and sustainable fishing. We are a restaurant favorite of visitors seeking a respite from a busy day of shopping at nearby Pike Place Market or walking along the Puget Sound.
-We have a 10 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 10 minutes after your reservation time.
-PARTIES OF 5 OR MORE: Please call the restaurant to book at (206) 826-1700. Our large party cancellation policy of parties of 5+ is $30 per person if there is a cancellation within 24 hours or the party is a no show. Reservation will not be held if no credit card information is provided.

                                                Interesting experience with hit / miss food. Focaccia arrived dry The duck fat potatoes were excellent The octopus had a lot of potential and the serving size was great The tiger prawns were wasted with a very off seasoning Carrot risotto was pretty good The cod came with an 4 bite portion for $45++ and was tasty but carelessly prepared with bones in! The chai flan was amazing Service was friendly Cocktails were fine I guess Ambiance is great but the 4 person table is really a 2 person table. Toss up if I will return.

                                                The food and service was great. There risotto topped with a few scallops was very good with great flavors. The oysters were also very good. Our only complaint was the noise level. The customers tables sir right in front of the kitchen and the cooks were fairly loud at times with their cookware and conversation. The restaurant is small and cozy which also contributes to the noise level. We will go back as we really enjoyed the food and service - just be prepared for the noise level. If you have any mobility issues the restrooms are down a flight of stairs. They may let you use the service elevator but beware you need an employee with key fob to get you back up.

                                                Loved the salmon dish and the lotus root was a nice touch and super delicious. I’d order this dish over and over again. Not every salmon is made equal. Truly enjoyed my meal here. Environment is perfect too!

                                                Solid. Nothing stood out positively or negatively. It is on our restaurant rotation. Been several times and it was better in the past. I would go again. Portions are large so sharing might be good. Noise level is good for hearing a conversation at your table without having to raise your voice or strain to hear others speaking at your table. We didn’t have drinks this time but in the past they were very good. Like I said before, solid reliable restaurant.

                                                Grateful for a place near home to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. A) There was a lot of confusion about the charges and gratuities. The menu stated one thing, the policy online stated another and the claims by staff were yet another. B) The price was probably $50 too high for the good dinner. It seems this is an increasingly common experience for us. The costs being charged are simply much too high for the meals served. We’ve eaten at amazing restaurants in many cities and countries. Seattle hasn’t added a restaurant to our list of favorites but has consistently been among the more expensive restaurants.
