Begin with seasonal oysters, then choose between rich, savory clam chowder or tender crab cakes. For the main course, savor Grilled Salmon, Seared Beef Tenderloin with hand-whipped potatoes, red wine sauce, and seasonal vegetables, or Crispy Gnudi with sautéed mushrooms, tomato butter, spinach, and cherry tomatoes. We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Schuckers after not visiting for quite some time. It was just as fantastic as we remembered. From the starters of raw and baked oysters to the mains of Lobster Campanella and Cioppino, every bite was delightful. The food was amazing, and our server was exceptional. If you haven’t been in a while, or if you’re new to the city, do yourself a favor and visit. It’s a Seattle staple for a reason.

Very nice atmosphere. Excellent service. Shrimp cocktail and crab cakes absolutely delicious. Experience more expensive than originally advertised but worth it.

The whole dining experience could not have been better. They seated us in our preferred location based on our advance notes in Open Table. The waiter was super cordial and gave wonderful service. The food was outstanding. I had the Crab Louie salad with four added jumbo shrimp. I couldn't eat the whole thing but hubby was happy to share, to compliment his perfectly cooked tender steak. Shuckers is a verynice date night restaurant.

Dec. 13, 2024 and dined at Shuckers at 7:30 pm. Our reservation was for 8, but the excellent hostess at the desk got us in at 7:30. She is professional, works every second on the job, friendly, and a great communicator. All the servers are great. The best in the business. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The drinks, again made by an excellent worker- bartender, were the best. Love this place. We were visiting, had a long drive home, but it was more than worth the inconvenience. Tip- stay at the Fairmont, eat at Shuckers, and live happy, satisfying life.

Service once we got seated was ok - albeit slow- but that was some 50 mins late to our reservation. Overall host/maitre d seemed overwhelmed, a bit disorganized, which was reflected in the general vibe of the evening. Shuckers is still one of our long time favorites, and we hope/expect this was simply a bad night and not a trend in the wrong direction.

Excellent, pre theater. Options to go light meal or full dinner made it the perfect spot. The drinks a Manhattan, French Martini delicious. Even our grandkids enjoyed.
