Known by the locals simply as "Simon's" this Anchorage landmark has beautiful panoramic views overlooking Cook Inlet, Mount Susitna and the Alaska Range.     We all chose the Special. Caesar Salad Prime Rib or Black Cod Chocolate/Creme Brulee desert. Really Fantastic!

    Went for our anniversary. Flower petals were perfect. Merlpt wine good. Waitress seemed overwhelmed. Ordered 2 appetizers, coconut shrimp was good. The calamari was okay, not the best. I ordered the 3 part meal $50 (consist of salad or soup, entree and dessert). The salad I ordered never made it to the table so never got it. The prime rib was perfect. Service was slow, so we took the chocolate cake dessert home which was good. My husband got the grabbed stuffed halibut which was alright, dry. Ended up splitting the prime rib. For our anniversary we got a complentary dessert that was unexpected and taste was okay. Overall not what I expected but seemed busy and maybe 3-4 servers.

    The quality of the service and the quality of the food are on par with a "white tablecloth" restaurant. Whether to celebrate an achievement, to woo that special person, or just to feed your hunger, this is a great place! Food, swank, and atmosphere - Simon & Seafort's has it all!

    I voted for Trump. Wife voted for Harris. Usually don’t argue politics, but for some reason we did over dinner. I made my points and she made hers. Bartender was very busy and our server let us know in advance. That served us well since I ordered a second round immediately. It worked out perfectly and the next round came almost exactly when the first was done. Food was excellent as always. Service was exceptional. Will certainly come back. Maybe not so soon after an election.

    Service was good. Drinks were not mixed well and my crusted scallops were burnt. I have definitely had better food and drink here in the past.

    Parking curbside. Entrance not well marked. Enter through double door and restaurant in back. Weekend Lunch winter seating at waterside windows. Appetizer, lunch entree and beer about $50. Pacific clams in mild broth an appetizer not normally a choice. Wait staff friendly and professional. Have been there twice.

    Up until our food coming out, we saw our waitress 3 times. Once for initial order of drinks and apps. Once to deliver the drinks & Once for the apps. As someone that always has 2 Corona beers before the meal comes out, this was dreadful. I don't drink while eating, I drink before hand and have water the rest of the meal. Our waitress visited her other tables around us, 3 to 5 times each... while visiting us 0 times in the same time frame. Very disappointed with our service last night. I guess first time for everything as this was our 10th visit or so in the past 2 years.

    We have celebrated birthdays for years at Simon’s. They used to offer free dessert of your choosing to the birthday person. Then they reduced it to a choice of their two least expensive desserts. Now they offer no choice, it’s Cream Brulee or nothing. At least give us another choice for those two don’t like Cream Brulee!

    Clara was an awesome server, very professional, timely, and personable. Manager paid attention to the table. Everything was perfect especially the food. Thank you to the chef and the stuff.
