Brought our family here for the first time and they couldn’t believe they’d never known about this place. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge and SF skyline combined with the bay and all the sailboats, it was a perfect setting. Our server was so kind and attentive. The food as always delicious, especially the Ora Salmon and the BBQ shrimp. And the desserts are all tasty too.

Excellent experience and joyful evening in all respects. Food was delicious, as usual. Service was outstanding. Brittany, our main server, was friendly and attentive. Whenever we needed something Brittany or someone else was right there! View was spectacular. We watched the sunset with the Golden Gate Bridge and other bridges in the background. A lovely evening!

Nice restaurant. I ordered Chilean Sea Bass. It was very good. Only complaint is the parking lot is very dark. It’s interesting how it has huge signs with warnings of car theft and break-ins but yet they don’t have a well lit parking lot. The GM walked us to our car after dinner. That was nice.

The view, cuisine and service were superb. I visited with a friend from overseas for lunch to celebrate my BD. We had fresh steamed clams, open crab sandwich and prime rib sandwich. They were all exquisite. We had crème brûlée dessert that was over the top. Our server Nicole was friendly and knowledgeable. The manager took the time to welcome us. I cherish our time at Skates. Do not miss dining there!

It took 30-45' for the main course to come out. We almost give up. Food was hit or miss. Lobster was fresh but very underwhelming. Filet mignon was overcooked a bit for medium. Beef tidbits and Lobster bisque are too salty. Black cod was the only thing good. The waitress was nice but she forgot about us maybe understaffed. The restaurant location is really good. They need to consolidate the menu, have better cook and more attentive staffs.

This was a gorgeous experience with amazing views. Everyone was so gracious from our host to the waiter.It was a 10/10 experience and I 100% recommend!

BEAUTIFUL setting with incredible views of the Bay and all three bridges. As for our dinner, the Bibb and Point Reyes blue cheese salad with pecans was delicious! My husband enjoyed his fiery tuna (large portion) but my sea bass had a strange flavor, almost a fermented taste, and I wasn’t crazy about the harvest vegetable medley. Regardless, it still was a beautiful evening!
