    Now I need to say pricey! Christmas Day $71 prefix menu only. It includes salad, main and dessert. So for two, it is over $200. But great view is nice. Good comes fast so only anniversary, we may come. Very luxury restaurant now.

    Christmas prix fixe menu was just delicious and a good value. Service was efficient and attentive for a bustling night. The only downside- cold in the restaurant. Had to keep my coat on, many diners as well. Lobster Bisque is delicious, the Crab and Artichoke dip very tasty. Entrees were great- PrimeRib, Surf and Turf, tender and well seasoned Swordfish. We would go again and probably will next year.

    Third year here for Christmas. It has improved each year! Our server, Ryan, was terrific. This year, everything arrived to the table in order and was delicious. Will likely be back next year!

    I was surprised - the food was good, the service was quick and the place was packed! Our 14 year old chose or and loved it! And we did too!!! Thanks to the whole staff for working so hard on Christmas Eve! Delicious!

    This was our first time coming to the restaurant and we will definitely be back. We came on Christmas Eve for their special menu. It was absolutely delicious. I had the clam chowder, Chilean sea bass with gorgonzola risotto and cheesecake for dessert.

    It was very dark in the restaurant. I wish they had put a little table light on each table. And it was extremely noisy because of a full table of guests next to us. I felt they were yelling into my ears. The waitress forgot our order and remembered it after 45 minutes. It was not a very good experience for us this time.

    We had not ever been to Skates as a family (our son is 20). This was supposed to be a special Xmas treat for us and we were so disappointed. We had reservations and had to wait 15 min to be seated which was not horrible but after sitting at the table with no water or anyone acknowledging us, I asked the bus person if they could get our food server. I could tell there was scrambling and confusion and our food server Beatriz, explained there was confusion but she would be attending to us. She was our saving grace, professional and attentive and if it were not for her, I would have asked to speak to a Manager about our underwhelming experience. My son and husband got their soup relatively soon after ordering but it was 40 min later when I asked when we might get our entrees. The restaurant was not very busy as it was 4pm. Beatriz apologized for the slow service and she saved the day but this was a lot of money to spend for mediocre experience. Then the entrees were served and I waited another 10 min fior my salad! We will not be returning.
