Great food even better service! The only complaint I have is the temperature of the restaurant. It was quite cold, and uncomfortable but ultimately warmed up as the day progressed and more guests started to arrive.

I returned to Sobey’s this year because it was one of the few venues from the year before (2023) that I could go & enjoy food, drinks and music and not have to pay a ridiculous cover charge just to get in. In 2023 I made dinner reservations (10:15) and me and my husband probably spent about $180 in food and drinks and had a really good time. For 2024 my dinner reservations were for 10:30 but to my surprise we were charged $100 ($50/pp) and we still spent $100 in food and drinks. I really think they need to revisit this process and if individuals are coming in with dinner reservations to buy food and drinks they shouldn’t be charged a $50 cover charge like those that are standing over on the bar side and are there just for drinks and the entertainment for New Year’s Eve. I won’t be going back for New Year celebrating next year.

The worse decision ever to make for my husband and I New Years Celebration! We e paid $50 each for entry and I couldn’t retrieve my cellphone I left in the car. How can I enjoy my expect I don’t have my phone. Second we waited 15 mins to be greeted by our server. Then another 25 mins to receive our bar drinks. Once we receive our appetizers we hadn’t seen our server for 30 mins. I then went to the hostess to help us find her. We spent $350 on TERRIBLE service. It’s auto gratuity so no matter the level of service you still had to tip!!! I will NEVER go back there! What a way to bring in the New Year.

SoBe Restaurant & Lounge was a huge disappointment! We had my sister's 50th birthday brunch there and the staff arrived so late at 11am. Our reservation was at 11:30am and the staff was not prepared. It wasn't even crowded but our waitress was in the kitchen to help cook alongside the chef, for the guests who placed their orders and were seated. The restaurant also discontinued bottomless brunch, so be prepared to pay a la carte. When we were seated, they provided plastic cups at our table and other guests received glasses of water. We had to wait an hour for drinks, one of the drink glasses had lipstick on it so it wasn't clean. Just before we decided to just leave and go somewhere else they brought out our food. The food was okay. My sister has an allergy to onions so they had some on her plate and the chef came out and said that must have fell on by mistake. They didn't offer to make her another meal. Getting the check was a pain, we had to get up and hunt down our waitress for condiments, the bill, and a discount for the long wait. This was our first and last time coming. We won't be coming back. There are better establishments that offer better service and better food for less money. Don't waste your money at SoBe.
