Solé Restaurant and Wine Bar is situated in a 150 year old Seagram’s building, minutes west of the Waterloo Uptown Core. The interior soars two stories high to a timber frame ceiling, exposed brick and generous wood finishes, set the tone for an elegant yet casual experience.

The menu will transport your palate to a bistro somewhere in Europe. Items ranging from fresh-baked pizzas, pastas, vegetarian entrées, steaks, and seafood will satisfy any appetite. An extensive award winning wine list, great selection of Scotch, local and imported beers on tap complement the experience. Service is professional yet friendly. Solé is waiting to take you away and deliver a complete dining experience.

    The waitress was very nice but very pushy to take away dishes and to ask us if we’d like anything else. she cut off a very important conversation twice just to ask if we need anything. But everything else was great .. just don’t make your customer feel like if he’s not ordering any more stuff he’s not welcome to stay.

    In 20+ years, have never been disappointed. Service was exceptional, which added to our overall enjoyment of the meal. It is the #1 go-to when my family gets together. (But we do all wish they'd bring back the lobster Benedict :-)

    Brunch at Sole was fantastic! The cocktails were tasty, there was a great selection of meals to choose from. Our server was attentive and the food, delicious. We highly recommend the chocolate cake - definitely for 2 - and the Sole salad.

    We had a great brunch. Went there for my Mother’s 94th Birthday, the food was good, Eggs Benedict very good, service was excellent, and they were nice enough to serve a birthday cake I brought for her. All around a very nice way to spend a couple of hours with my Mom on her birthday.
