   As always, had another great meal. Jason was great server and was there when we needed something. The staff as a wholee really seems to work together to enssure the customer experience is positive.

   My husband and I were celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary. We were sat at a long table, sitting across from each other, next to people we didn’t know. I did not care for the seating arrangement. It was difficult to talk to each other and ruined the experience for us. Food and service was good.

   My favorite place to dine while in Cincinnati! It is absolutely stunning inside. Our server, Cooper, was knowledgeable and energetic. The food was phenomenal! We always get the goat cheese and my wife loves the cacio e pepe. We tried the octopus last night and when I say the flavor was out of this world it’s not a joke plus they were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back when I am in town next.

   This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Cincinnati! The Cappellacci is probably my favorite dish I’ve ever eaten. I love the vibe of the architecture and decor - so unique and fun. Would (and do) 100% recommend to everyone.

   I made reservations 3 months in advance for a table of 2 at 4:30pm. When we arrived there was no one in the restaurant (I think they had just opened) We were told that they had us sitting at a "communal table". When I told her that I reserved a table for just 2 people, not 8 people, she simply said that we are sitting at their communal table. I asked again to be seated at a table for 2, she told me the only option was to go sit at the bar. Which we did. So, we sat and spent $250.00 on a meal sitting at the bar. So very disappointed. Food is incredible, service is horrible. I'd rather go to Boca or Prime any day.

   We had not been to Sotto in several years, but it was just as good as we remembered it! The goat cheese bread, the black pepper caesar and the primavera salads were excellent. The gnocchi alla romana and the short rib cappellacci were both delicious but I'd give the nod to the short rib as my favorite. You can't leave without the doughnuts for dessert and we also tried the afagato as well. Great service and a perfect table helped make for a wonderful experience. Thank you Sotto!

   We went to Sotto to celebrate my birthday and we had an early dinner time of 4:45 which was really a great time to sneak in. Our server was fantastic as she was very friendly and attentive, she walked as though the menu and the wine list, helped make a few suggestions of her favorite items and then gave an acceptable amount of time to make our decisions, during which that time the Sommelier came by the table and helped us make decisions with our drink selection, which was awesome! Like most others that left their experiences, we had the Hazelnut honey grilled bread, the Cacio E Pepe , The Short Rib Cappellacci , the Breaded Pork Loin and finished with the Ricotta Doughnuts. Everything was really very good and well worth the hipe that this restaurant received…with exception of the doughnuts. They were good but maybe because I was just so full , they were just good. You know what I mean? Good but over hiped.Restaurant Romantic, Historic, Upscale, Cozy, Sexy! The service was fantastic and everyone did a great job! Food delicious, and worth every penny!

    I had to make a reservation 3 months in advance to get into Sotto, it is so popular, even on a week night. We had an initial negative reaction when the hostess informed us we did not have a reservation. (It turns out she spelled our name wrong). With no apology after confirming that we did indeed have a reservation, she assigned us to the table right at the kitchen entrance, which was very noisy and high traffic. Our server was great, but the food was only OK. My husband had the quail and I had the Tagliatelle. Between the loud booming music and the full capacity noise of other diners, we had to yell at each other to be heard. Our previous visits have been much better. Based on this latest - we won't be back any time soon.
