Always great southern food - the chicken livers were very good, the corn bread biscuits are amazing - had salad with fried chicken. All great!

Food was average. The She Crab Soup was a huge disappointment!! Aside from tasting more like a bisque, I only discerned two tiny pieces of crab meat in the bowl of soup. Needless, to say I have had much better.

We were a bit underwhelmed this time. We come at least once a year for a special event and just wasn't thrilled with the menu or the service. The menu is usually really awesome, several of us had the trout, which is one our menu favorites, but the side of sweet potato and turnip greens was dry and uninspired. We are just not sure we will do this again next year.

A wonderful evening with friends. The food was delicious and Andrew, our waiter, was great. Easy parking, too! Would highly recommend.

What a surprising brunch experience! My partner and I were looking for somewhere that seemed a little different than the usual eggs/meat/potatoes combination you can find in so many places, and this place was it. The space is beautiful, the service was wonderful, and the food was even better than it sounded on the menu. They had a good crowd, but even so the noise level was mild. They suggest making reservations, and I would do so, just to be sure you secure a seat. You'll be sad to have to miss out on this place!

Went for Thanksgiving. First time eating SCK. We were seated on the patio. In the corner by a stack of chairs. I’ve heard great things about the fried chicken. But, being Thanksgiving, I want to try the turkey breast dinner. Disappointed. Most of the meal was bland and the turkey lacked flavor. Wish I would have gone with the fried chicken. Paying $80 a person for a dinner that I didn’t enjoy. And to be seated in an area that had a stack of chairs right by the table, I honestly thought it was overpriced. I will say, our waitress was great. Don’t serve the turkey next year.

The Thanksgiving menu options were great, but I have to tell you one small ‘negative’: at $79 per head (over $300 for 3 w/tax & tip), to see side charge of $3.50 for one soda, didn’t sit well. It’s a small thing, but would expect that maybe on a cruise ship.
