Sparks Steak House was opened in 1966 by Michael and Pasquale Cetta, hence the logo 'Cetta Brothers Steak Masters'. The restaurant is still a family owned and operated business and is located in midtown Manhattan, a five minute walk from Grand Central Station and The United Nations. Join us to celebrate 50 years of business!

The restaurant is well known for excellent steaks, seafood, fresh vegetables and satisfying salads.
And of course, the huge wine list.

Been here multiple times and this experience was extremely disappointed. I get you are busy and stressed because of the time or year (week before christmas) but the service was so poor, the waiters were all rude, brought us plates that were 100 degrees and slammed them on our table, and our steak was horrible. The “filets” had fat in them? and they cooked one wrong, sent it back, and brought it back at the same temperture. The whole experience was a disaster, the manager came over and did take some things off but still for a $600+ dinner…… unbelievable

Outstanding and classic place. The steaks are huge. The best cheesecake i’ve had in decades. The service is impeccable. Highly recommended. Don’t miss it.

We had one of the best steak dinner experiences in a long time. I don't know why we don't go to eat at Sparks more often. Our server, Rashid, was fantastic, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. The steak (aged) sizes were humongous, and it was fresh, not thawed, as many chain steak restaurants have fantastic experience

Sparks has been a special occasion and holiday tradition for thirty years. Never disappoints, always memorable. Service impeccable and an exceptional wine list. Prices are what they, a little high in some areas and head shaking in others. But for that important celebration - go for it. Who deserves it more?

Our server was terrific. She remembered that it was our anniversary and gave us our dessert with a message on it. She also gave us really good recommendations for food! We had the baked clams, filet mignon, asparagus (she recommended with garlic), button mushrooms (fantastic and her suggestion) and the pecan/walnut pie a la mode (her recommendation). I also loved that they split and plated things in half for us. Overall a wonderful experience!
