We sat on the bar side which is what we love to do it’s much quieter there were 4 of us we had a quaint high top and Lauren was our server who we love

The meal was extremely rushed - the tables didn’t turn over but it felt like they needed us gone as quick as possible which didn’t make it the enjoyable birthday celebration we hoped for

Spasso is the first and only restaurant I recommend to someone when they ask for dinner recommendations in Philly. Out of the 10 or so times I have visited in the past two years, I have ordered and been blown away by the same entree every time - the Fettuccine Shrimp. The creamy pesto sauce with the pasta and the shrimp is just simply divine. To finish, you absolutely must get their tiramisu. Absolutely phenomenal food from start to finish, and the low lightening atmosphere brings it all together. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Every time my dinner ends and we have to leave, I dream about returning.

Quality of our entrees were great veal / clams& linguini / Carbaniara - we had 2 appetizers calamari (looked like they ran out) small portion size and escargot Staff pleasant. Would return but not order the calamari
