The Spring House Tavern dates back to 1719 and has been owned and operated by the Burns family since 1948. We specialize in seafood and are especially well known for our crab cakes. We look forward to seeing you!

we noticed a decline in the quality of the food and drinks on our last few visits. Last night we saw it again. 3 our us ordered Prime Rib, mine was 1/3 fat. I realize that prime rib is fatter than other cuts but this was excessive. the other 2 prime ribs were very fatty as well. I mentioned it to the waitress and her response was "it is Prime Rib" 2 of us ordered draft beers and they were not very cold. My Wifes wine was marginal at best, she said it tasted watered down, she took it to the bartender to ask if she got the wine she ordered, he just blew her off. Not very customer centric. Not what you expect for a $300 plus dinner for 4

Food and service from Zach was excellent. We enjoyed everything! We are so comfortable with bringing guests as we find the food and service consistent.

We booked a table for 7 and ended up with 8 people at the last minute, and Spring House Tavern graciously accommodated us. We were celebrating 3 birthdays this week. We selected Spring House Tavern because they had brunch, lunch and children's menus available to choose from. Everyone was happy with their sandwiches, burgers, BLTs, children's chicken tenders, fries, chips and omelet. Since we were in celebration mode, we naturally ordered the chocolate ice cream, mint chocolate chip ice cream, cheesecake and peanut butter explosion! Our waiter was upbeat and our service was prompt. We highly recommend Spring House Tavern for special family get togethers. We also urge everyone to use opentable.com to make their reservations.

Everything was wonderful, except no real maple syrup. Only high fructose corn syrup. I am not sure why they would go to the trouble of having a breakfast brunch without the real deal.

Our waiter was excellent and the food was very very good. We sat on the enclosed porch addition= they should consider artwork and more decorative touches but the food and the service were excellent.
