ST. JOHN Bread & Wine reflects the rhythms of its locale whilst observing the same respect for seasonal, indigenous ingredients and "the whole beast" as the bigger sister restaurant. Currently opening for dinner, Tuesday to Saturday, this branch very much beats its own drum with a menu structured towards a slightly less formal manner of dining, with guests actively encouraged to share dishes as they're ready from the kitchen.

As well as selling goods to take home from our bakery, wines by the bottle or the case can be bought from our lists to take home with some delivery available.

Bread & Wine has been voted Best British Restaurant by the Evening Standard and named as best value restaurant by The Observer Food Monthly.

St. John Bread and Wine is such a special place for us. We went on our first date over 13 years ago and have returned for special occasions ever since. The place has retained everything that makes it wonderful over those years, whilst changing the menu daily and always service delicious, interesting and somethimes unusual flavour combinations. The vibe and the atmosphere is perfect, the staff are all lovely and really knowlegable about the food and drinks. Its a fabulous place. :)

Wow such food. My colleague had the finest venison - I mean kind of dish of the year! Chef you did well! My own fish was excellent. Service was splendid , friendly and helpful. Thanks my day is now better Best D

As always interesting food but hard to have a conversation due to noise level and that you mostly get seated at a four top with another couple most of the time.
