The White Horse Whepstead

There are several examples of stop chamfer moldings on the beams in the downstairs bar and restaurant that are typical of this date. The wide oak floorboards on the first floor and attic also suggests 17th century as does the positioning of the inglenook fireplace. The quality of the timber frame indicates a high status house and unusually thetimbers on the first floor appear of a higher quality than the ground floor.Caribbean Croft

The decor was classy and elegant. Our waitress, Jess, was kind, warm and friendly. She was very helpful and patient with us, explaining menu options, answering and asking questions to ensure we were well informed. Further, I am salt restricted and she helped me select options for my meal and communicated with the chef to ensure my meal was both delicious and salt restricted in its preparation. We didn't feel rushed, and the pace of the meal was perfect. The bread was a treat, the food was delicious. Keep up the great work! We will definitely be back!
