STEAK 954 is a modern boutique ocean-front steakhouse. The restaurant features dry-aged prime beef from hand-picked ranches; American, Australian and Japanese A5 wagyu beef, fresh seafood, and the finest wines and spirits with selections from all over the globe. STEAK 954 is one of the only 32 restaurants in the USA that is certified to sell authentic kobe beef.

**Reservations accepted for in-door dining only. All reservations have a 15 minute grace period. Our terrace seating is first come-first serve based on availability and weather permitting. No centerpieces or birthday decorations are allowed inside the dining room.**

    The Brazilian singer Lele Barros or Samba lele as known in South Florida sings hits of Bossa Nova, Brazilian popular music and samba in a fusion atmosphere of styles with a pinch of jazz. The project that has started in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 2007, revamped in 2018 within American territory and has been growing, taking part on both American and Brazilian communities. We are delighted to be featuring this band against the natural backdrop of the ocean breezes of North Fort Lauderdale Beach in Steak 954 at The W hotel.

    Overdressed salads, steak was fair at best and had too much seasoning on it. I’m not one to post a negative review, unfortunately 954 was not good. Would suggest Capitol Grill or Morton’s.

    Very nice atmosphere as always. We have had the pleasure of dining at 954 many times over the years. The food and service was excelent!

    Upon arrival the restaurant immediately accommodated our elderly in-laws for seating. We booked a mid-afternoon Thanksgiving seating, so the noise level was low. Our server, Richard, had a charming sense of humor,a lovely accent, and he was very attentive to our needs even after the restaurant began to get busy. The food was excellent from appetizers through the dessert. Upon Richard’s advice in the Wagyu section, I had a Snake River American Wagyu ribeye end cap that was as tasty as a steak can get. The cocktails were also attractive, and the wine, a Kosta Browne, was excellent. I like a steakhouse that serves high end wines by the glass as well as half bottles. Steak 954 offers that option. The total meal cost was high but appropriate for a high end steakhouse on the strip in North Lauderdale Beach. I don’t mind paying more for high quality food and great service. The restaurant also had great views of the beach across the street. Overall, we had a great Thanksgiving meal at Steak 954 and would recommend this restaurant.

    Our server (Sydney) was excellent. All of her recommendations were spot on. The table next to us was a bit unruly but she handled it in stride. The food was amazing.

    What an excellent choice if looking for a top steak house. The chilled lobster and tuna appetizers were awesome and our Filets were perfect. While we were celebrating our anniversary they brought out a dessert cup cake for us, Thanks. Service was top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    An excellent restaurant with beautiful beach views. Top end steak restaurant with an extensive wine list. Food was served to perfection. Pricey but well worth the expense. We have visited every time we’ve been in FL and it never disappoints
