Stone’s Public House

Stone's Public House, in the time-honored tradition of New England and the old country of Ireland, invites you in for a pint, a conversation and, of course, some of the finest cuisine Metrowest has to offer. Our Public House prides itself on a rich history of fine food and drink, friendly service, camaraderie and, perhaps, a whisper of spirits not to be found anywhere else!

Parking details
We have our own private lot in the rear of the building. Guests can also use the street parking in front as well as the municipal lot across the street for no charge. We just ask that they use care in crossing the street and the railroad tracks.
Public transit
We are approximately a mile and a quarter from the Ashland MBTA Commuter rail stop.

The food was overpriced! I ordered augratin potatoes that were approximately 2x2” for $10. The garlic shrimp had no flavor. The dinners that came with 2 sides are now à la cart for almost the same price. I don’t think I will be going back as well as not recommend.

Dining at Stone's is always like visiting friends. I had an ordering hiccup tonight, but, as always, Stone's took care of it with friendliness and professionalism. Love Stone's!

Stones Public House has a great menu, and had a special St Patrick’s Day menu as well. Corn beef and cabbage and Sheperd’s pie were both delicious with the right amount of veggies and meat. Stone’s is always a good dining experience: both consistent and caring.

We had dinner in the bar Friday night and it was awesome! We had soup and Irish pizza as appetizers and they were terrific. Our meals were wonderful, I had the St. Patrick’s Day special corned beef and cabbage dinner and it was fabulous. Others at the table had the scallops, burger and pulled pork sandwich and it was all very good. The drinks were wonderful and our waitress Sam was amazing!! It just feels like home in there!

A loud and vibrant atmosphere. A great selection of pub food with also some excellent upscale entrees. Friendly and efficient service.
