The Takami Sushi & Robata restaurant is the only eatery in DTLA that offers rooftop dining 21 floors above the city. We provide a 360-degree city view of Los Angeles and are located within 1 mile of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Bradbury Building, and The Museum of Contemporary Art. Parking details
Valet is located down Lebanon St. north off of Wilshire in between Flower and Figueroa for a flat rate of $12.00. It is HIGHLY recommended to not park and leave your car after dinner. Valet will close when the last guest leaves and cars will be held in the parking structure until the next business day.
Public transit
The Metro station is located 1 block south at 7th & Flower. Valet parking is available on Lebanon St for dinner from 5:00 pm until closing, at a flat rate of $12. Public parking for lunch is available at 616 Figueroa St.

After dining, visit Elevate Lounge for dancing and cocktails. Elevate is open to the public Friday & Saturday from 10PM to 3AM. Friday & Saturday cover is $20 per person. Having dinner in Takami does not guarantee entry into Elevate. For bottle service/ table reservations, please contact Taylor at reservations@elevatelounge.com. There is also complimentary taxi transportation to Staples Center & The Music Center when dining at Takami.

All the appetizers, rolls and nigiri were delicious! Our server was attentive and the tea plus heater added to ambience on a cold night while we enjoyed the views on the outside patio. The supermoon shining above was the cherry on top for us. Had missed it here.

I’ve enjoyed Takami for over 20 years and it never disappoints. A very swanky, handsome ambiance is matched by unparalleled cuisine, some of the most creative and flavorful sushi I’ve ever had, also artfully presented. Their fried calamari with the rice cracker crust is also a treat. Our dinner last night was top notch, as always, with one unfortunate exception: they’ve started charging for using a credit card. On our bill, the card processing fee was over $4. Accepting credit cards is simply a cost of doing business, but they want to sneak it on to your tab now, rather than simply eating it, or folding it into their menu prices, which would be more straightforward and hones. This trend among many restaurants to find deceptive ways of hiking your bill is very angering.

For our first night, this was a great way to experience downtown LA, a roof top sushi restaurant. R - our server was outstanding and provided some top choice recommendations. The Eel nigiri and blue finned tuna roll were amazing! Everything was delicious and the views and ambiance made it for a special night out.

Seth was our server and was fantastic!! All the food was great!! Surf and turf roll along with the Gyoza was on point. Everything else was good too but those were our favorite parts of the meal!! Oh and don’t skip on the churro waffle!!
