Behind the wrought iron gate, past the herbaceous patio and through the atrium is Talula's Garden, the warm and elegant Washington Square eatery from Aimee Olexy and Starr Restaurants.     We are frequent visitors to Talula’s. Booked 6 weeks in advance and requested the seat us in our Open Table profile preferred tables. When we got there none of those tables were open and they had just seated someone there. We had to sit at a least preferred table so was annoyed off the bat. Tyler did an awesome job as server. Paced the food well. Kept checking on things without too over the top. Food was good. The gingerbread scones were a bit overdone but delicious. We are scheduled to go back in January. Hoping the table situation doesn’t happen again.

    Went to celebrate my husbands 40th. Our server Kevin was excellent. Made great recommendations and didn’t forget to say happy birthday to my husband as I noted the occasion when booking. Food was delicious. Didn’t spare a bite

    This was our first time for brunch and it did not disappoint. We have had dinner several times Angela and her team are great! Food was amazing and drinks were really good! We loved all of it and left wanting to come back soon Thank you

    Excellent experience from arrival to departure! We were greeted and seated promptly, ordered drinks and appetizers that were simply delicious. Our entrees were exceptional. The chicken was the best my son ever tasted and the beets on another dish were perfection. Loved the apple cider donuts for dessert! The food was served at just the right time and at a perfect temperature to enjoy. We will definitely be back soon!

    Thoughtful service despite how busy they were the plates were delicious the drinks spectacular. Cool bathrooms! The only knock, however minuscule, was how loud the room was further sound treatment would rectify how lively the room sounds, but thats just one guest splitting hairs. Attentive staff great cocktails and beautiful dishes can absolute must visit

    Some of the best tuna tartare I have EVER had! The lamb brisket was also impeccable. Love the ambiance, though it is a bit tight space-wise (I'm not that tall/big but kept bumping into the staff with my elbows while seated.) No real complaints, always a great choice to come here.
