Opened in June 1922, The Tam O'Shanter boasts a rich, storied history and warm, inviting atmosphere. We’re proud to be in our 10th decade of continuous service. We originally considered it a quiet pastoral road stop, since Los Feliz Boulevard was just an unpaved country lane traversed by rabbits and rabbit hunters, in that order.
Everything changed when Walt Disney and his animators, set designers, and crews began trekking out between takes for a bite and a refreshment. So often, in fact, that the Tam was once dubbed “The Studio Commissary.”
Join us and see why the Tam is said to have been Walt’s favorite restaurant!

As a family-run establishment, we’re committed to keeping our community safe. We always practice strong hygiene protocols and rigorously adhere to all CDC food safety standards.

Diner quality meal for $100. I remember when this place was packed and delicious. This evening my stomach still hasn't recovered from a very unfortunate lunch. My wife's sandwich was just ok.

Disneyland ambience. Steve, our server was so friendly. Love the trivia that Disney and imagineers used to come here a lot. Table 31 ❤️

5:45 midweek booking. Was seated fairly promptly. Good atmosphere in dining room. Food came quick, although more attentive service might have gotten another glass of wine out of me. Nice evening.

Server was excellent, food was delicious, noise level was too high, with 2 big parties sitting near us, the indoor area we were sitting at looked as though it needed refurbishing.

Service was lacking. Very inattentive wait staff—-too many tables to serve. Food came out inconsistently so as we waited food turned cold. Ordered bottle of wine that came towards end of dinner. Overall THIS IS NOT OK
