Tavern On The Green will be offering our Holiday Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from November 30th-December 29th. This is priced at $95 per adult, $65 per child and does not include beverages or tax. A 20% gratuity will be added to all checks.

Dress Code: Smart Casual. Jacket and Tie are Not Required.
* We do not permit sleeveless shirts for gentlemen nor athletic/running/jogging attire for any patrons in the main restaurant.

I was so excited to take my granddaughter! We did brunch and the ballet!! I know it was a holiday weekend and I knew it was going to be busy and I'm okay with all my decisions regarding that. What I'm not okay with with is a rude hostess and an incompetent manager handling the crowds. Otherwise our server was excellent and the food was fine

We enjoy Holiday Brunch at Tavern on the Green when visiting NY. We were sat in the glassed in room and while the ambiance was quite lovely, it was uncomfortably warm. We and others asked if the heaters could be turned down a few times. We had to wear our sunglasses because it was so bright as the sun was shining right on our table the entire time. The food was delicious as always! The kitchen was a little backed up but the restaurant was packed so it was to be expected. We will return!

Wonderful location and stunning ambiance. We enjoyed our appetizer (burrata), really tasty! We ordered the steak, short ribs, lobster Mac and cheese, shoestring fries and birthday cake slice. The steak was incredibly bland and fatty. The short ribs were quite good, best dish of our visit. Lobster Mac was ok, very dry and we picked out most lobster as it didn’t have great flavor and had a rubbery texture. Shoestring fries were great, crispy and delicious! The birthday cake slice sounded much better than it was. Waiter stated it was vanilla funfetti but the frosting tasted like cream cheese.. not terrible, just not my type of funfetti birthday cake. We had 3 items from another table added to our check, when called out they were removed but had I not noticed we’d have paid for nearly $50 of someone else’s drinks! This was our first visit and for the price not sure the food/service will bring us back. The restaurant is beautiful but we definitely had hopes for a better tasting meal.

Everything was as expected, great service, great ambiance. We ordered a Tomahawk steak from tavern for the 1st time. Cut looked good when presented but when served contained at least 30% fat. We did bring it to the managers attention and he noted that he would make sure that the be conscience when trimming the cuts. That is obvious and encouraged while moving forward but did not have any result in plating our dish.
