Just steps from the Eagle Bahn Gondola, in the Arrabelle within Lionshead Village, the Tavern has a creative and delicious array of lunch and dinner selections. Try our quick service walk up bar with dining on the square and gastropub cuisine, or enjoy a reservations only a la carte dining experience on the mountain side and patio.
A food style inspired by contemporary American culinary sensibilities, the Tavern culinary team delivers a global artisan “craft” riff on fusion cuisine along with an eclectic wine list, microbrews and craft cocktails to complement any occasion.

Took us over 1 hour to get food. There were 6 of us. One got his food 30 min before anyone else. Then the rest of the food came except 1. Took another 20 min to get his food. Ridiculous when everyone was trying to get back out to ski before lifts closed.

Despite having a booked reservation, we were seated at a bar high top table even when most of the restaurant had empty dining tables. Service was mediocre with the waiter not even checking on us and food and the steak ordered was cooked wrong.

The Calabrian chicken wings were very tasty and the Australian bass was perfectly seasoned. Not crowded and a little less pricey than most other Vail restaurants.

Food was very average. Disappointing since location is excellent. Better place for apres ski drinks and snacks than a place for a good meal.

The food was excellent, the service was slow. He restaurant was packed with people so maybe they were understaffed for the night. We had a great time but waited for our drinks for a 20min and food order an additional 20min after that. Loved the place and the food, will go back and hope for better service. :)

This may not necessarily be a 5 star restaurant on this app but we had a great experience, great service and our food was good so I’ll call it like I experienced it.
