   We had an amazing experience. Alejandro was a fantastic server. He knew all of the details of the menu, made recommendations we all enjoyed, and was perfectly attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant. All 3 of us enjoyed our selections - appetizers, entrees and desserts. We wouldn't change a thing

   Hostess was very welcoming and asked us what seating we would prefer. Our server Tad was great, as well as all the serving staff. There was a private party at the restaurant that made service a team effort by the staff, and they did great! Hostess,(sorry didn’t get her name), served us our dinner entrees, which were awesome! The food was exceptional! Will definitely return, or order a take out of pizza before our vacation is over. Also big shout out to our parking valet! Great experience overall!

   Came back a second time during our vacation - gave us a great table outside. Nati our server was very good, food was delicious and good portions. Great place for fresh food !

   Our waiter was poorly trained. When he brought a bottle of wine to, he just poured it — did not allow us to approve a sip. Spent too much time elsewhere during our meal — the front manager came by more often to check on us. The fries were from a frozen bag. The fish varied — my wife and I had the same entree, her fish was cooked quite nicely, mine was mushy. Not sure it was fresh, although locally caught. The accompanying shrimp were undercooked, and even when the front manager brought back a second try, one was ok, the other undercooked again. Poor quality control in the kitchen. Ceasar salad was disappointing, mainly the dressing. SUPER noisy inside, even though only 80% occupied. We could not hear each other across the table, I had to move to sit beside my wife or conversation was impossible. I think the new management at Taverna may be inexperienced. Any good enterprise needs to select its staff carefully, train them well, supervise them appropriately.

   Food was fresh and very tasty. Service was okay. We enjoyed the setting and view, although very loud in the restaurant.

   Don’t waste your time or money on this place. Nice ambience, but that is it. Ordered osso buco and got a tough hunk of meat that was obviously cooked days ago, rock hard carrots, and a mediocre purée of potato. The pasta dish was disappointing as well. Will not return.

   I would have preferred wasabi with my ahi rather than a sauce and mashed potatoes. Also one of us had ahi appetizer as the entrée and it was good. Service was average. The “managers” wander around looking like the Blues Brothers and ask how dinner is. But they don’t tell you who they are. I had to say “and you are…?” That was weird.

    Fantastic experience at Taverna. The menu is fresh and unique, with island favorites. The staff is accommodating and delightful!
