An Alternate Approach to Dining:

The combination of great food and celebration created a new meaning for the concept of dining. Taverna Opa employs a different approach to energize and introduce the diner to a different dimension of entertainment. Previous dining norms are broken, spirits are lifted, with every single broken plate and every single napkin in the air. Taverna Opa is a lively and entertaining spot, perfect for a fun night out. The authentic Greek cuisine is flavorful, and the atmosphere is electric, especially during the belly dancing performances. The music and dancing create a festive vibe, we had an awesome time and can’t wait to go back!!

This place is one of the greatest experiences you can have out dining. Why you might ask, am I making such a statement? Well it is because when you go out to eat you either have situations where it’s nice and quiet and romantic or more action. This place is more about the energy. They play really amazing Greek music with belly dancers come around each table. Also people dining can get up and dance on their chair to enjoy the experience. It is a lot of fun and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the experience. DO NOT Miss out!!!

Good food, good service. A solid option along the intracoastal at Hollywood Beach. We were in the outdoor area which is quieter than indoor with nice views of the lake.

The food was great as always. But tge service this time was really bad. The waiter had an attitude and was pushy(trying to get us spend more) and when we did not comply he slow and impolite. A total turnoff.

Not my first time at the restaurant, but this time eating inside was way too noisy. The tables along the windows overlooking the Intracoastal Waterways are so close together you can put your hand out and touch the people sitting across from the aisle. Food is excellent, service was fine. From now on, I will only eat at the outdoors area.

Food was not as good as prior visits. Gyro meat was greasy and dry( overcooked). Lamb chops were delicious. Super noisy environment making it difficult to have conversation but love the authenticity.
