A social atmosphere fit for a president. Join us where vibrant cocktail culture meets fun elegance and comfort food at this Dupont Circle neighborhood favorite. It is said that while President Theodore Roosevelt loved to eat, to him the dinner table was less an occasion for fine dining than as a springboard for conversations. In keeping with this, we have created a stunning interior design for Teddy and the Bully Bar that keeps patrons talking. Reflecting Theodore Roosevelt’s love for simple American comfort food, including steaks, oysters, fried chicken and house-made cornbread, our seasonal menus feature a contemporary twist on classic comfort dishes with a focus on quality, local and simplicity. We pay special attention to sourcing from our local producers, representing President Roosevelt’s belief to “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” We offer an exciting happy hour, energetic bottomless brunch (Sundays), and a perfect match of social energy and food culture.

Teddy & The Bully Bar brings you downtown DC's unique brunch. It's an unlimited experience with so many of your comfort food favorites served in tapas portions. Enjoy chicken & waffles & also indulge in many other options from our menu. Not only do you have unlimited plates of food, we have a made to order Belgian Waffle & Omelet station. Pick your favorite topping or fillings from the Chef's Table. The two hour experience includes bottomless mimosas or bellinis. There's even an ice cream bar with great flavors & toppings. At just $60 per person (not including tax, gratuity & 3.5% restaurant relief surcharge) It's a value like no other. Fresh music & a fantastic vibe awaits.

We have extended our Restaurant Week Dinner Menu and Saturday Brunch Menu through until the first day of Spring. It's time to experience the great value that Teddy has been known for since 2013. For Dinner, enjoy Branzino, Short Rib, Mushroom Pappardelle and much more. For Brunch, we have a wide array of brunch entrees like Pear & White Chocolate French Toast, Teddy Breakfast or Avocado Toast with egg. We offer the following: Dinner: 3 courses for $40 per person/4 upper choice courses for $55 per person Saturday Brunch: 3 Course plus one Mimosa or Bellini at $35 per person Not offering Restaurant Week on Friday & Saturday Feb 14 and 15 These prices do not include beverages other than those listed, tax, gratuity or 3.5% industry inflationary surcharge

Teddy & the BB never disappoints! From the menu that changes slightly each quarter to the stations that I didn’t even get to visit this time. Make sure you’re ready if you do bottomless food and Mimosas for Sunday brunch, as you will not see the bottom of your flute! Not a complaint, but as I was driving I had to sip slowly. I’ve dined at Teddy & the BB numerous times for numerous occasions. It’s a family favorite for celebrations. And I’ve left with food intoxication & slightly inebriated from the bottomless brunch practices they employ. Thank you for always delivering!

Our server was inattentive at best. We went 20-minutes or more several times before seeing anyone again. For a “bottomless brunch,” glasses sat empty for long stretches and plates were not cleared in a timely manner. We waited an eternity for a Bloody Mary to be delivered and waited even longer to place another food order. Furthermore, our server would take partial orders at the table then disappear again — leaving guests with nothing for long stretches. The food was tasty, but our service was basically subpar. What’s more… they sat some guests who arrived 30-minutes before our reservation and took drink orders. So those who arrived on time were cut short on our 2-hour brunch. Our group left a “bottomless brunch” and went elsewhere to eat because people were hungry and couldn’t get orders placed. This is NOT what I expect from a “bottomless brunch” and not what I expect from this restaurant. Dinner service is far superior. I will not be returning for brunch. Disappointed.
