I have never had a bad experience at Teskies. This is the only spot I’ve been that even comes close to my families cooking. I will continue to book for any special occasion.

The food was below par. The spaezel was way to thic and dry. The apple streudal barely had apple in it. There should have been a lot more apple - not just the pastry. Our server Kyle was excellent.

Overall the experience was average. The food was good but nothing outstanding a bit overpriced. Beer was average too however the Hofbrau was on a watery side. It was the last day of the Oktoberfest season so it was very noisy even if we were indoor it was actually noisier than outdoor where the band was playing. That was not my first visit at Teske's and probably not the Last one but Not for Oktoberfest.

Great traditional German fare in a nice old-fashioned setting. The Kassler chop was succulent and generous, and I loved the warm potato salad and the red cabbage (which they kindly agreed to substitute instead of the sauerkraut). My husband enjoyed his pork shank although the skin was not as crackling crisp as some we had somewhere else. The Sacher torte was outstanding.
