Texas de Brazil- Brazilian Steakhouse is carving a new experience in dining! The concept combines the cuisine of Southern Brazil with the spirit of Texas, for a dining experience unmatched anywhere else. Voted as one of “America’s Top Restaurants” by Zagat, Texas de Brazil features a dynamic menu of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage all deliciously seasoned, cooked over an open flame and carved tableside by the Gauchos. The restaurant also features a 50-item, fresh gourmet salad area containing seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses, authentic Brazilian dishes and other specialties. Guests can conclude their dining experience with a decadent dessert or relax with tempting after-dinner drinks.

Excellent!!! Authentic Brazilian experience with top notch salad bar, and the skewers of quality, tender beef and chicken just keep on coming presented by very pleasant, friendly and attentive waitstaff!! Definitely worth a visit!

Contrary to our previous experiences, this time we were very disappointed. This restaurant is our “go to” for special occasions and their good customer service is one of the key elements for this -alongside the great food off course- but today the attention was poor to say the least. The staff was non attentive, from the reception all the way to our server, my fellow diners and I felt neglected and ignored very often during the night. At one point, my husband repeatedly asked multiple staff members for a dessert and after dinner drinks and was told something in the lines of “coming right up” several times before our dessert order was really taken. I know it’s a holiday (January 1st) and this may have tainted the experience, but please take this into consideration for other holidays as it was not a pleasant experience.

We did not get a chance to sine in even though we had a reservation. Both hostesses were rude and very disinterested. Told us we can wait a few hours to see if they could accommodate.

Unbelievably rude. After keeping us waiting for 30 minutes for our reservation they offered us a 3 top for 4 people, near the bus station and door. There were other tables open and they refused to let us change until we were ready to walk out. They then sat us next to the salad bar when other tables were open. Again they refused to let us have a decent table (we had made reservations 2 months in advance). Our drinks took over 25 minutes and we were told they were out of glasses. They eventually arrived warm as they had been sitting at the bar. They never brought our sides until we had to ask and when they did, it was for one person. The meat was average at best. Quality has completely gone downhill since last time we visited. They kept on bringing over the last bits of well over cooked items. All and all it was a disaster. I would never go to this restaurant again. Truly terrible.

Gisteravond wezen eten bij Texas we vroegen aan de manager of we buiten mochten zitten vanwege de kou die binnen was en een paar die herstellend waren van de griep hij ging het gelijk regelen waar de meiden aan de balie altijd chagrijnig kijken en geen viste kaartje zijn is dat de manager wel die ons ook al lang kent we zijn lokale die graag met onze gasten hier komen eten We zaten net met onze salade en toen kwamen ze ondanks dat de kaartjes nog op rood lagen al direct met vlees aan tafel vond ik iets te snel maar het liep wel lekker door al met al hebben we een gezellige oudejaarsavond gehad bij hun met lekker eten maar net wat ik zeg de ontvangst als je binnen komt mag echt wel iets vriendelijker dat is echt jammer

I was debating if writing a review was of importance. The manager is helpful but the wait staff is just pure inattentive. The skewer staff are not waiters and cannot get drinks or bring refreshed mash potatoes. We did have a few issues during the meal which I will not go into detail, and were somewhat resolved, which included serving cold meat. We do eat here every year. We love the restaurant and are fami;liar with the style of dining from Fogo de chao, and chiaroscuro plataforma both in and outside of NYC, where I see them consistently taking food temps. From the second we sat down they tried to rush the meat on us, even with all the cards on red. and us having just sat down from the salad bar. It was very frustrating. I will leave it with the waiters need to pay attention to their tables and give better service and communication.
