The Auld Hundred serves up traditional yet tasty British pub grub, washed down by a great selection of beers, wines and spirits.

At our central location on 100 Rose Street you can unwind in our classic pub interior, or enjoy a bite to eat in our expansive upstairs dining area inspired by Scotland itself.

Auld Hundred's menu is bursting with high quality burgers, steaks, pies, our famous fish & chips and a few of the classic Scottish comfort dishes. On the drinks list, we have a crackin' selection of cask ales as well as premium wine, beers, ciders and malt whisky.

Four of us dined at lunchtime on a Wednesday and had booked in advance. It soon got busy so I would advise booking in advance. 2 had steak pie chips and vegetables and it was the best steak pie we'd ever had. Chips were freshly cooked and piping hot. 2 had burgers and they were excellent too. Desserts were also delicious. A faultless meal for us. Service was also top class. Have booked again during our trip to Edinburgh.

We had a fantastic meal this evening, enjoying traditional Scottish foods, drinking local small batch beer in a lovely setting. The Haggis Bon Bon’s were delicious!

Really enjoyed our visit to the Auld hundred, this was our third meal there and will definitely be going back.

Service was prompt and food was great. Staff very friendly . Only downside was the noise from downstairs as there was a rugby on. However, once match was finished it was much quieter.

Nice casual restaurant up stairs from the bar. Busy but quick service. Definitely need to book at weekend as it’s popular. Had the fish and chips and it was lovely. Fish very fresh and well cooked. Good value for money for Edinburgh. Would recommend if you like good British pub grub, there’s also the specials on the board, which are always nice too.
