The Blue Fish Restaurant and Oyster Bar is located historic Avondale, one of Jacksonville's most prestigious neighborhoods. Just minutes from downtown Jacksonville, we offer the freshest selections of seafood in creative recipes, including a large variety of specialty oysters, great steaks, fresh catch, and nightly specials. Light plate options available for the smaller appetite. Jacksonville's best Happy Hour 3-6:30pm daily. Al fresco dining available on our patios.. Our wine list is quite affordable with over 60 wines by the glass. We have two full bars with a late-night upstairs club. We are upscale casual and perfect for business or casual dinners, with friends, family or date night. Full banquet facilities available including private dining rooms that seat up to 70.

It was my first time eating at the Blue Fish restaurant and I was very pleased from the time we walked through the door until the time we left. I am definitely looking forward to going again

I went for my birthday dinner. ratings: mussels 10/10, grouper 6/10, the shrimp and scallops were my favorite part of the old bay mix 10/10, but the mashed potatoes and mixed veggies it came with were a 6/10. my partner had the snapper with the blackened and lump crab & rated it an 8/10. we both shared the crème brûlée & it was a 10/10. our server Richard was very kind & attentive! I would definitely go back.

Sold out of initial order, 2nd option was sold out as well therefore, I settled for something I really didn’t want and I did not enjoy it.

This restaurant is in my neighborhood and I want it to succeed. Few things I noticed; The hostess was young and very nice however her attire didn't represent the restaurant. The inside of the menus was dirty, the paper was worn. The interior of the restaurant looked run down. Lastly the main dinning room was very loud making it nearly impossible to have a conversation.

Blue Fish is our neighborhood favorite. Food is consistently good and service always great! Our favorite server Richard treats us like family when we come in. Highly recommend eating here!

Cocktail sauce and coleslaw were missing from medicine frird shrimp dinner. Trout was properly cooked in but salty. House salad was basic1/3 oysters was good. Overpriced, unsatisfying meal. We won’t be back.
