Gather at the Blue Pig Tavern, our distinctive restaurant tucked in the corner of Congress Hall. Known for hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites, its name derives from a gambling parlor sited in Congress Hall in the mid-1800s. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May. Today, we offer timeless classics and new seasonal delights with ingredients that are always farm-fresh.

    Everything was fine and the manager Marley was outstanding she knew all the answers to all my questions. Very helpful beautiful setting good food and great service. Will be back.

    It was New Year’s Eve so the activity level and energy were high. We didn’t mind the excitement at all. Lovely restaurant, great service and the decorations for the holidays were spectacular!

    Our waiter Neb was spectacular. Food was great. Drinks were perfect. This is the best Christmas environment in the Philadelphia area. Better than Peddlers Village.

    We had a wonderful time at the Blue Pig and enjoyed the decorations in the restaurant and in and out of Congress hall for sure ! Food overall was very good. A couple gripes; my New England clam chowder soup although tasty was like warm and the waiter never came back until a while later so I ate it that way. Our waiter was very nice but service was slow, they were very busy. Our salad and soup plates were still on the table when the entrees came out which is a no no. Crab cakes were excellent and the salmon was very good as well. Also, my wife’s beet salad with fried goat cheese was awesome ! For dessert we got the blueberry cheesecake which was very tasty. If service was better and my soup was hot I would have gave it 5 stars. We went on Dec 30th which I knew would be busy so I will definitely go back at a slower time. Overall I liked it !

    We were seated promptly and our waiter was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was holiday lovely. We had the delicious clam chowder and then salmon and filet mignon. Both meals were very good. We would definitely recommend.

    Booked at blue pig to show our nieces and nephews how cool Congress Hall and cape May were. First time for them. Got seated in a banquet room. No notice that when we booked it would not be in the restaurant. Subpar experience.
