Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Always a great experience. Professional. Food is always delicious!!! We split 2 appetizers and they were great! Make it a point to to go several Times a year!!

    We have been to the one in Indianapolis many times. This location was just as awesome! Great food and great service!

    Main course arrived during appetizers. We were completely rushed to turn over the table - out in 60 mins on Thanksgiving.

    We have been going to the Chicago Capital Grill for Thanksgiving for several years now. It is always outstanding. And we were blessed to have our favorite server Micheal wait on us again. He does an outstanding job pairing wines with our dinner.

    The Thanksgiving meal was very good. All was tasty but there could have been more stuffing added to the plate as there was hardly any. The pumpkin cheese cake was amazing! We really enjoyed our wait person Kelly. She was great with us. One other suggestion- we ordered and the meal came out writhin 3 minutes, before our wine or side dish did. It all worked out fine though

    The food was delicious and fresh. We had Ceaser salads, filet minion and salmon. The sides were Brussels sprouts lobster Mac/cheese and au croton potatoes. The bread selection was warm with butter. We sat in a smaller room and virtually no noise level. The Waite staff were very friendly polite and helpful. We had an enjoyable dinner and experience.

    Two so-so meals in a row at The Capital Grille. The place has slipped and is not as good as it used to be. Sad. Fortunately, we have lots of truly great steak houses in Chicago—Gibson’s, Morton’s (my fav), RPM (okay, it’s also my fav), Chicago Cut…the list goes on. Is The Capital Grille resting on its capital laurels?

    Working lunch with treasured colleague. Outstanding service, quiet ambiance, and great food, perfectly prepared with our specific requests welcomed and honored. Always a wonderful experience all around. Conversation was the main entree. Lobster bisque always perfect, delectable salads: salmon perfectly cooked: crunchy crust and dripping in juices, extra avacado, dressing on the side, (mine just balsamic and EVOO). Wonderful midday meeting. My go-to place for the people and the food!
