   Our daughter graduated from Nursing school yesterday and wanted to go to The Capital Grill. We went at 2pm, my daughter had a cheeseburger and my wife and I had ribeye sandwiches. They each a bowl of soup as well. They both enjoyed espresso martinis as well as dessert. Everything was excellent as always.

   Food and service are always tremendous! This is why I don't mind paying a little more for the meal. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella is awesome!

   I’ve been here on many different occasions, but this time was forgettable.😟 I made our reservations for a “special date”…I wanted to surprise a special someone who has never dined here. Apparently, there was a comedy show in town (Sebastian) & the restaurant was overflowing with customers. Needless to say, we waited 45mins after our reservation was booked for. We were then seated in front of an emergency exit door, which I don’t even believe that’s legal?? It was drafty, & NOT romantic at all. Our waitress brought us our bill without asking us if we wanted dessert!! The bill was over $300 for 2 ppl. I felt very disappointed, that I couldn’t give my date a memorable experience. We won’t be returning here anytime soon. You failed me this time. This place definitely has changed.🙁

   Too bad, usually good. Both steaks were overcooked so bad they took them back. We waited 90 minutes to get them so didn’t have time for fresh ones before we had to leave for our show. Being busy is no excuse for slow service and overcooked food. Waited 45 minutes for a drink refill.

   We went for Waygu and wine 🍷 and the wine was excellent but the burgers 🍔 weren’t as good as we’ve had in the past. We all were disappointed but of course we will be back again as the service is always exceptional and our meals in the past excellent as well.

    Ugh. It pains me to review so poorly. But we love the Cap! But tonight we got the B team - maybe the C team. Service was very much lacking…we went for a birthday….they brought the birthday dessert before the rest of the table even ordered - took water glasses away while we were still eating. Food temp was not great. Empty cocktails for a while. For $800 - can I at least keep my water glass until I leave? We love it here, so will be back - so just an off night.
