We pride ourselves in using Scottish ingredients, best local and seasonal produce, using contemporary methods to create a fine dining experience in the evening. Our lunch service begins at 12pm which is a relaxed, informal dining experience. The team at The Capon Tree look forward to providing you with our dining experience.

Food was tasty, beautifully presented and of good portion size. The bar, although very quiet, was a lovely place to sit. As this was our entertainment for the night I wish the restaurant staff would have slowed down just a little. We were happy to sit, chat and savour the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting the area and I hope that we get the chance to return in the future.

We were very impressed with the Capon Tree. Food was excellent - my ribeye was perfectly cooked and very tasty and my wife's lamb cutlets were excellent. The pork tenderloin was a little dry though. Desert was yummy and a nice selection of wines. The service was good- friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a lovely night and we wish this new restaurant lots of success in Jedburgh.

Birthday lunch, lovely welcome , beautiful decor, varied lunch menu, service excellent. Will definately dine here again, food delicious, mojitos served in mason jars nice modern touch

Fine Dining has come to Jedburgh - you must try this place! The new owners have completely renovated the place and created a lovely bar, restaurant and accommodation that wouldn't be out of place in upmarket Edinburgh or London - 5 stars all round. Lovely décor and atmosphere, fabulous cocktails and drinks menu and the restaurant is cosy and classy. The food menu features local sourced quality dishes and we feasted on scallops, pigeon breast with a plum sauce reduction, lamb and a smoked haddock risotto to die for followed by some of the best desserts we'd had in a long time. Well Done Ashleigh & Alistair - and keep up the great work - we will be back!
