   Delicious fresh cooked meal, top quality absolutely mouthwatering roast pork and vegetables, followed by dessert to die for. Service was impeccable. We’ll be frequenting The Charles Dickens in Broadstairs again and again. Very impressed.

    When we entered the bar a friendly bar man pointed us in the direction of the restaurant upstairs. We were then greeted with a smile, and led to our table which had our names, our chosen menu items and beautiful rose petals for Valentine’s Day. The three staff that served us were friendly and helpful, and being new to the area we enjoyed hearing stories of the building and new chef. We were presented with a special cocktails menu for the evening, and freshly made bread and olives. The bread was so soft, it was almost like eating cake! I loved it. Our starter was perfect, and just the right amount. Our main of steak and chips was cooked to perfection, and followed by desserts. The whole evening was lovely, we were made to feel welcome and valued, and we cannot wait to visit again.
