The Colosseum Restaurant is an award-winning Italian restaurant offering elegant surroundings and exquisite Southern Italian cuisine. Opened in 1987 by Chef Annibale Todesca, the Colosseum has become an established favorite for diners in Salem, NH and the Merrimack Valley. Chef Annibale Todesca serves the same authentic Southern Italian cooking that he enjoyed growing up in Italy. Like many generations of Todescas, he ventures to the market every day to ensure that he cooks with only the freshest vegetables, seafood and highest quality meats. Please stop by for lunch or dinner. It will be our pleasure to serve you.

We love going here however the amount of gravy on the pasta and other dishes has greatly diminished. I would rank this 5 stars every time if not for the inadequate amount of gravy.

One of our favorite local restaurants. The food is consistently excellent, as it was on this visit with friends. I love that there is always nice specials selection which several in our group ordered from and loved.

Long wait between server contact .Food Luke warm. Flavoring bland. Notified open table under comments this was a birthday celebration. No mention or acknowledgement during anytime of service.

Our first visit and it was a great experience. We sat at the wine bar early afternoon. Food was absolutely perfect and the manhattan’s were amazing

Service was th best part, but seems overpriced for the quality. Cucina Toscana in Nashua has way better food and much more appropriate pricing.

We drove 2 3/4 hours from Littleton NH in the middle of a winter storm. It was our anniversary, our 20th Anniversary. You were highly recommended by a chef I worked with. Because of the storm there weren’t many people in your restaurant, but we were greeted by a very nice hostess and then waited on by Chelsea! All the reviews are correct, she is phenomenal! We started out with the World Famous Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms. OMG! Then I had the Carbonara w/ Grilled Chicken and my wife had the Al Fritelo. Both meals were seriously the best Italian we’ve ever had. We’ve gone out to dinner on each of our anniversaries and this is the 1st time we’d driven this far and in the middle of a storm, but OMG, it was so worth it. Thank you Chelsea and thank you Chef for making this an amazing anniversary. We will definitely be back! Chris and Karen Perdue
