THE COTTAGE, is a warm and welcoming new restaurant by Chef Brian Lewis, which embraces the local community and is greatly influenced by the artisan farmers and growers in our region. Chef Brian's creative take on American cooking offers an exciting menu of hand-crafted dishes, inspired by techniques and cultures from various regions around the globe. Our food, wine and signature cocktails are paired with gracious hospitality in a warm and cozy setting. We are deeply rooted in seasonality, focused on sourcing exceptional ingredients and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

                                                                First time at Westport venue and not up to the standards we have experienced in their Greenwich location. We were there for a special occasion and were greeted with indifferent manager and waitress who seemed bothered by our questions. They brought us celebratory champagne which was flat. The time in between when we saw our waitress was too long. The food was excellent, make no mistake, but service not good. As we were ending our meal, manager seated a woman who seemed like his friend who proceeded to talk on her cell phone for over 5 minutes into my wife’s ear trying to guide her friend to the restaurant. Asked her several times to go to bar and have conversations but she didn’t care. Finally raised my voice and she had manager show her to new table. Asked waitress if cell phone usage was allowed and she didn’t know and had to ask manager. Really? Fabulous food but terrible atmosphere. Never again and will make longer trek to Greenwich…

                                                                The Cottage is a charming restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. But it is WAY TOO LOUD. If they could add some noise-reducing features it would be a big improvement. My friends and I probably will not return unless we can be sure that it's a slow time. Other than that, which is a big issue, it was a really lovely place and I would return many times. The noise is the only reason I'm not giving it a rating of 5.

                                                                Everything was exceptional except that the server was rushing us. It was annoying to us that he tried to hurry us when we were trying to have a nice relaxing brunch.

                                                                Another great dinner at the Cottage! Went here for my wife's birthday dinner. It has been our venue of choice for birthday dinners for years now and it once again did not disappoint. Food was incredible, service top notch. The physical space is beautiful if a bit on the cozy side. We have dined outdoors and indoors at the Cottage and we may slightly prefer outdoors just because there is more room/privacy per table. But for colder weather indoor diners you simply cannot go wrong with the Cottage. Brian Lewis has graced Westport with two wonderful restaurants in the Cottage and the asian-inspired OKO. Bravo!!
