Featuring local "farm to table" cuisine using a breadth of farmers in the Missouri and Illinois communities. When asked to define of The Crossing, Owner/Executive Chef Jim Fiala often says that he is a chef that buys locally whenever possible and cooks as any French and/or Italian chef would given the ingredients sourced. Joining Jim is Chef Thu Rein Oo who brings passion and years of experience to the kitchen. Our food is fresh, organic (whenever possible), seasonal and by design very simple. The Crossing stays true to classic techniques and the chefs love showing off their skills and passion for elegant food.

    What a great experience. It is certainly a fine dining experience with coursed plates and high levels of service. Food was very good as well as ambiance. Will be back

    The Crossing continues to be an excellent choice for fine dining in St. Louis. The food and service are excellent. The night we were there it was somewhat noisier than past visits due to several large tables of men some of whom spoke and laughed loudly throughout the evening. When they left it was pleasant. I think the British are right when they say Americans do not know how to speak quietly at the dinner table.

    Delicious lunch options! Enjoyed a beet salad and salmon. Wasn’t going to have dessert, but, twist my arm, and fully enjoyed a lemony crème brûlée.

    Food was excellent especially the trout and swordfish specials. Love the wine list. Service was just right. Always a high quality meal and experience at The Crossing.

    What a perfect lunch. Small beet salad off the tasting menu for starters, followed by two magnificent pasta dishes. She enjoyed the Torchio pasta with tomatoes, pesto and crispy prosciutto while I went to heaven on the Strozzapreti ragu alla bolognese. To die for!! Warm chocolate torte and pumpkin cheesecake and next thing you know old Jed’s a millionaire. Best lunch in forever. Service was attentive and the team went above and beyond. Can’t wait to get back here.

    First time diners. What a wonderful experience. Service from the valet, to coat check to server was wonderful, friendly and seemed to genuinely appreciate our visit. Had The Tasting. Wonderful beyond words. Thanks for a great dinner!
