   Excellent service, amazing farm to table food. The owner stopped at our table to talk - he’s liovely. I highly recommend the Dumbwaiter!

   Love the food. Have been several times. Was a little disappointed that they ran out of the ribeye, but what I ordered was excellent. The waiter was excellent… very personable and attentive. Ambiance is good, except that it gets quite loud when busy and difficult to hear the person you’re speaking to unless they speak loudly, which just contributes to the problem. Not a big deal unless you want a quiet dinner. Not sure much can be done to fix this. I think it’s just the acoustics of the large open dining area. The seating could be a bit more comfortable. The metal chairs can be a bit hard and uncomfortable, and some find it difficult to maintain good posture as they are sliding around on the chairs. Some seat cushions would probably fix that. It is also very bright. Not am issue to me, but some would prefer a little less lighting, which could improve the ambiance. Some dimmer switches and maybe some candles for the tables could address that.

   The atmosphere was nice. Amanda was out server she did a good job, very attentive, however it was freezing cold and the air conditioning made the food cold VERY FAST, so unless you eat like you’re in the military with no conversation or you order a salad, you are going to be eating cold food. This isn’t the only review where the food came out cold I don’t think it’s the kitchens fault but whoever the manager is that has it like a meat warehouse inside.

   This was our first visit as we just moved to Mobile a month ago. We will be back for sure. The food was delicious. I had the pork chop and my husband had pot roast on a plate. My pork chop came with collard greens, and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Corey took excellent care of us and we will ask for him next time. Like I said, we will definitely be back.    The service was excellent. The place had a great vibe and the food was excellent as well. Our waitress talked us into the bread pudding for dessert and it was amazing.

    We had a bit of a mixed experience but don't let that stop you. Our food arrived at our table very cool...as in not hot...after a lengthy wait. That means these beautifully prepared dishes had been sitting a long time and not under a heat lamp. We started with the house salad which was excellent. Next came the mains of shrimp and grits, and the scallop dish. The taste and presentation were spot on...just sadly not warm. The shrimp and grits were perhaps the best I have ever had with a flavor that was out of this world. The scallops came with a nice rosemary sauce but were just this side of cold in the center. The place was hopping so I'm sure our server got tied up with a large group or something and our food was stuck at the pass. Stuff happens. I wouldn't think twice about going back and giving it another try.
