Experience an extraordinary night out at The Edge Steakhouse located within The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage. The Edge, with sweeping views of Rancho Mirage, crafts remarkable wagyu steaks, both premium hand-cut and bone-in meats as well as seafood paired with an international wine list unrivaled in California’s Greater Palm Springs Valley.

**Now open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. (final seating at 9:00p.m)

**Dress code: Smart Casual Attire - Please refrain from wearing flip-flops,
casual shorts, lounge & sportswear.

**Seating requests:
Due to the intimate size of our restaurant, window seating is based upon availability and not guaranteed.

    From the minute we arrived at the restaurant the service and attention was impeccable. The food was equally as good and the view is stunning! We’d highly recommend you spend the evening at The Edge!

    Wow! Of course, we had steak which was exceptionally prepared. Squash soup and wedge salad to start. Great wine and cocktail selections. Exceptional service. And the beautiful setting. Splurge was worth it. Thanks to Cecilia, Hope, and David!

    The food was OK; nothing spectacular, and the service was good. We were seated at the window, but it was dark. You would probably appreciate the window view at dusk/sunset. Otherwise, you're starting at a black void with some lights. We started with the harvest salad and now, two days later, I can't even remember what it looked it! 🙂 There was some green but other than that, it wasn't memorable. I had the prime ribeye cap and it was OK. It came med-rare (my preferred preparation) in some areas of the steak and rare in other areas of the steak. It tasted like a cap, also salty, but I like salt. My companion had the wagyu tenderloin, med-rare, and thought it was OK but much too salty. The truffle oil overpowered the potato puree. The mushrooms were almost perfect; cooked well but under seasoned. The mushrooms needed some of that salt! The bread was fresh and warm, but once I was told it was brushed with honey, I was less interested. We passed on dessert. Our primary waitperson, Roberto, was fine, as was the back-up help. Her name begins with a "G" and ends with a "y" - she was excellent. The maitre d was friendly and welcoming, as well. The restroom: located right in the bar area and even closer to a high bar table! It's in the weirdest and (awful) spot. Who wants to be seated near a restroom line while you're eating your meal? I was stunned by that. Horrible design. And in the bar area, do we need two large screen TVs in a supposedly upscale steakhouse?? Makes it seems like your average bar restaurant. Overall, it was an average/OK experience. The food, service, and ambience, do not justify the prices.
