Influenced by its location in the elegant Normandy Farm Hotel, The Farmer's Daughter is the culinary cornerstone of this historic property & offers an unforgettable dining experience with an exceptional menu of Chef Mtele "Abu" Abubakar`s "Modern Farm Cooking". At The Farmer's Daughter, heirloom and locally sourced ingredients are brought to life on the plate in the form of pure flavors and innovative dishes inspired by the seasons and harvests of our surrounding region. We aspire to give our guests a sense of personal connection to the farmers, brewers, cheese mongers, distillers, winemakers and charcuterie craftsmen who collectively help create an exceptional dining experience. Our expansive bar and fireside lounge follows a "fresh only" approach, creating all of the mixers and infusions in-house from local fruits and vegetables for an extensive list of creative cocktails.

Everything was very good. Waitress could have been more attentive. Was craving their chicken salad but it wasn’t on the buffet today due to them having their winter menu out. The chicken salad is so good, it should be a staple for the buffet.

Restaurant was very loud but we got used to it. Appetizers were fine but expected a more impressive charcuterie board than what we received. Drink were good and coffee at end of evening was very good. 2 of 4 meals were not great. Steak cut was tough and over sauced. Risotto was not very impressive- lacked on the scallops and flavor. We did have a nice evening but were under impressed for cost and quality of food. Service was very good however.

Overall, I thought the food was good. it was nothing exceptional. The omelette station chef was amazing and our server was excellent as well. The cupcakes were dry, threw a couple desserts that were not really good. I suggest more bread selections besides bagels like sourdough toast, or rye. I’d also, the chili was over seasoned/salty. The ham was very good.

Terrible experience, start to finish. We started out in the bar before our dinner reservation, and the bartender could not have been ruder or more miserable. We left the bar to go to dinner in the main restaurant, after having made the reservation on Open Table. The hostess grabbed menus and started to lead us right back into the bar area. We said no, we have reservations and she told us thatOpenTable assigns tables either in the bar or restaurant randomly. And, if we wanted to wait, we could wait 15 to 30 minutes to see if somebody who actually got a dining room reservation didn’t show up. So we ate in the bar. Worst ambience, stuck in the corner under a cold window. Food was awful. Sent my dinner back because it was cold. The new dinner that was brought out was just as cold as the first one. Would never go there again.

We visited for our 3rd anniversary. Our server, Lindsey, was awesome and actually remembered working our wedding in that exact dining room! The food was fantastic, always seasonal and fresh.

We had a great dinner at the farmer’s daughter in the bar area. Love the pretzel bites with the truffle butter/dipping sauce. Son and husband burgers, which were amazing. It was a last-minute dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got married at Normandy Farms and farmers daughter turned it into a special night with a lovely card on our table and dessert at the end

Very disappointed with the selection of food for the Sunday brunch. If you want a sugar rush, this is the place for you. If you want quality food choices, do not go. We are fans of The William Penn Inn brunch but decided to try Farmers Daughter because of it being ranked “Best of Mont Co. “ Don’t believe it. On 1 good note, our waitress and the chef were very pleasant. Another note— they also need 2 people at the cooking station. Omelets and waffles were undercooked. He was too busy to get it right.
