   Two friends, one of whom was celebrating his 65th birthday, and I attended the Sunday brunch at The Gates On Roblin on March 23, 2025. The food was limitless and of premium quality ranging from the delicious broccoli cheese soup (piping hot and ever so delicious!!!), roast beef, omelettes made to order, endless vegetables, endless salads, numerous hot dishes including bacon, sausages, potato cubes, a chicken dish, a salmon dish, a pasta dish, and several other dishes. Desserts included several elegant tortes, a trifle, small dainty squares, and lots of fresh fruit: strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, and honey dew melon. Michael, our extremely competent and attentive server, brought us juices of our choice plus coffee for one and two Earl Grey teas. It was wonderful to be back at The Gates On Roblin. Donn K.    We came for dinner with a group of 5 people, including a 12 year old. The service was great. The server spoke nicely to the child in our group. We had a lovely evening. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

   Service was lovely and the food was delicious. Received dessert free as it was our 25th anniversary celebration. That was a much appreciated surprise!

   The Gates is over and above my expectations. I will never forget the experience I had. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I love this restaurant.

   Went for Sunday brunch! It was an alright experience, though the service was mediocre, the food was good but not anything special. Servers were rushed and would often spill drink/coffee refills while pouring without noticing. Unfortunately my husband’s omelette had a long hair in it. Kudos to them they handled with well and made amends. Not sure the experience lived up to the price tag!

   The food was good but not as good as the last time we visited. The service was also good, the servers here are very kind and attentive, however rushed, which made us feel rushed. We were charged much more for Sunday brunch than what was listed online however. A bit deceptive and disappointing.

   Food was delicious...as you would expect for the price paid. Waiter had trouble remembering our orders...three times he came back to double check...this was even after he had written things down...sitting too close to others. Not that busy...could have easily been seated less near others. Younger couple decided they didn't want us to hang around at end of our meal so they fake cleared their throat repetitively...like creating a toxic environment at work on purpose..it was hilarious!
