The Greene Oak is a contemporary 1 AA Rosette pub and restaurant in the heart of Oakley Green near Windsor in Berkshire. Taking hospitality back to it's roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team, gastronomic experiences showcasing outstanding suppliers and produce but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.
The Greene Oak prides itself on offering a diverse selection of wines, beers, cask ales and ciders. Our carefully selected wine list offers an accessible range of bottles to suit all tastes and dishes and don't worry if you are driving, we have an extensive lo and no alcohol list too.
There is a large garden and terrace which is covered and has heaters, with two horse boxes for the perfect unique dining experience. There is ample parking and dogs are very welcome in the bar.

I ordered roast chicken, it was reheated, dry, flavourless and bloody inside. Yorkshire was burnt, roast potatoes raw inside and veg was undercooked. Save your money and go elsewhere! Service was not friendly apart from one waitress. We ordered sticky toffee pudding thinking this should be a safer bet, could not have been more wrong! Small and dry!

We were in the area for one night having been to Legoland that day. Staff were fabulous, engaged with our children and made fuss of my son on his 7th birthday. Couldn’t do enough, timings between courses was great and comprehensive knowledge of the menu and on top of drinks etc. Thank you, the service and food was the icing on the cake for a fabulous day for our family and our memories

We received a very warm welcome. Food was delicious, hot anda very good variety of dishes on the menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Lovely pub. We would definitely be regulars if we lived closer. It was the service that made our experience extra special, especially as they knew we were not going to be back again anytime soon as we live so far away. We even got a discount as we were staying at a B&B over the road. Thank you very much for a lovely evening

Lovely restaurant, food delicious. I always try different dishes from the menu that I haven’t had before. Never disappointed. Staff very welcoming and attentive.

Sunday lunch average at best. Staff good food really average. Cabbage and carrots side reminds me of my the 70s. Over cooked and bland. Roast potatoes good. Beef too well done. Cauliflower cheese past its best time on the pass. In and out in 45 minutes. Works out at 2 pounds a minute. Could be great venue Perhaps it is but not at 15:00 on a Sunday.

A suggestion and perhaps a selfish one! Have you thought about corralling the children and hopefully accompanying parents into one area (Sunday Lunch being the case in point) Great to encourage children to interact with others in public for sure Positive parenting in allowing their children to be able to eat out in a restaurant. Crap if the said parents have not got a clue how to control their children and the little treasures start running amok and the decibels start to get stratospheric! Before anyone asks, yes I have 2 grown up children and hopefully we did not scar to many other diners as we took them out for lunch/dinner/a cigarette (last one not actually true) As ever a great lunch @ number 4.
