The Greene Oak is a contemporary 1 AA Rosette pub and restaurant in the heart of Oakley Green near Windsor in Berkshire. Taking hospitality back to it's roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team, gastronomic experiences showcasing outstanding suppliers and produce but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.
The Greene Oak prides itself on offering a diverse selection of wines, beers, cask ales and ciders. Our carefully selected wine list offers an accessible range of bottles to suit all tastes and dishes and don't worry if you are driving, we have an extensive lo and no alcohol list too.
There is a large garden and terrace which is covered and has heaters, with two horse boxes for the perfect unique dining experience. There is ample parking and dogs are very welcome in the bar.

    Back for another year is Windsor’s premier New Year’s Eve experience, Dine and Disco at The Greene Oak. Throw on your finest attire with a black tie dress code positively encouraged (although not compulsory) and join us as we ring in the New Year in style! If you’d rather skip the dining and head straight to the disco then our Bar Ticket option is for you! Available for £10 per person, including a welcome glass of fizz, then you can just slide over to the dance floor and disco yourself all the way into 2025!

    It’s a great location and well staffed but the menu is limited (dishes served very rich and celeriac risotto was cold the waitress explained it was the cream!!), she did offer to replace but it’s not the waitresses job to explain the reason why it’s served cold! So go on change the menu up make it more shareable as I’m sure a lot of the customers are not regulars.

    It was my first visit to the Green Oak we have wanted to go for a while and it did not disappoint. Such a lovely place we were greeted warmly and had a lovely table. The car park was busy it looked like there was a lot of people but inside it was spacious with plenty of room. The service was first class so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious beautifully cooked we had the fish and chips. It was my birthday and I was given complimentary sweet treat which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely return.

    Overall a very good experience, good food and good value with the lunchtime 2/3 choice menu which had a good selection to suit most if not all people.
