Welcome to The Grove. A modern gastro pub serving a selection of contemporary and classic dishes. We offer a casual dining area with full table service, and a large bar area with assisted service. We are a dog friendly pub as long as they are with well behaved hoomans but we don't allow dogs in our dining area, if you would like to bring a four-legged friend, let us know and we can seat you in our bar area or garden.

We accept bookings up to 6 inside, multiple bookings cannot be made for the same party. We have a click and pay app for our guests; it helps us decrease contact at the bar. It also enables our guest to remain at their table. Not all of our tables are covered outside, so please email if you wish to specify.

We are now cashless;
If you wish to sit in specific area of the pub either Restaurant, Bar or Outdoor please let us know so we can make sure your request is being accommodated if possible.

    Food was good but don’t ask for an after dinner coffee as they close the machine down….around 9pm ! It’s more a boozer than a pub bistro that’s just my humble opinion!!

    All good! Lovely service and very kind staff! The food was great. Did not wait too long. It is pricey, but I guess it's just London. With a couple of pounds less on each meal it would be perfect! I recommend the puddings. Wow.

    Food was delicious served by very pleasant staff. Glad we'd booked, as our table was in an area away from the main throng. The lighting may not have been as pleasing, (a little bright), but at least it was away from the screaming kids. Noise levels in the main body of the area were high.

    I've been coming to this pub for Sunday roast for a couple of years. I am not sure what happened but the Sunday roast we were served on 13 October 2024 was absolutely dreadful. Beef was half cooked and it was not possible to chew it. Potatoes were so overcooked that it was impossible to cut them with a knife. Veggies were overcooked and had no salt. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger and it was completely tasteless. We ordered fries and got chunky chips instead. The roast was not touched by our group and when I went to the kitchen to complain, the chef offered chicken instead. I was not prepared to wait for another hour to get another disguising meal. I paid over £100 for this absolutely horrific experience and was not even offered any kind of refund - our plates were clearly still full with that rubbish and I would not be surprised if it may have been reused for someone else. Never going back.
