I frequently dine at the Ivy restaurants, basic menu but I like the decor and ambiance.
My last visit to Marylebone Ivy Cafe the service was slow to non existent at times I didn’t know who was serving us and near on impossible to catch a waiter’s eye, no one checked if everything ok, drinks served incorrectly, one drink was returned and replacement completely forgotten about, oh yes eventually managed to get attention and got a replacement after we finished dining,, by the way still wasn’t as ordered.
The medium steaks were served rare and overall it all could have been better.
Whilst writing, on another recent visit I pointed out the bill was incorrect, actually considerably too low,,, you might have thought a thank you for pointing this out,,, frankly staff didn’t give a dam and kept me waiting another 20 minutes to correct this inconvenience, ! if there is a next time and bill is to low, against my old fashioned honesty policy,,, I won’t question why it is over £100 to little.
