Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995. Special diet needs met upon request.

    Ivy Inn is a very pleasant restaurant with outstanding service and atmosphere. The food is generally good, but there is an over emphasis on pork. And it would be nice to have more vegetarian options. Otherwise, the food is well prepared and very nicely served. It is an expensive restaurant, but generally worth it.

    Delicious appetizer, pasta (entre), tenderloin (entre), and dessert. And some very cool drinks! We absolutely loved our dinner and experience.

    Beautiful place with a historic atmosphere. Food delicious and our waitress was exceptional!!! Kind, informative and friendly. Everything from drinks to dessert was exceptional!

    We frequent The Ivy Inn for special occasions, and our visit was to celebrate a belated Valentine's Day. Our server was extraordinarily excellent, and the food was, as always, decadently delicious!
