Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995. Special diet needs met upon request.

    Our first time visiting. It was very delicious. Lots of creative cocktails and nice wine menu. We had the tuna crudo, gnocchi bolognese, rack of lamp and horseradish potatoes. All amazing! Theresa was an excellent server.

    It’s over an hour’s drive but more than worth the time. It was a delightful evening—service and food exceptional in a beautiful, historic setting. Thank you for showing my husband a special birthday evening!

    Ivy Inn is a very pleasant restaurant with outstanding service and atmosphere. The food is generally good, but there is an over emphasis on pork. And it would be nice to have more vegetarian options. Otherwise, the food is well prepared and very nicely served. It is an expensive restaurant, but generally worth it.

    Delicious appetizer, pasta (entre), tenderloin (entre), and dessert. And some very cool drinks! We absolutely loved our dinner and experience.
