    Immerse yourself in the magic of the season with our Festive Set Menu. Enjoy two courses for £55 or three for £60 and delight in our show-stopping festive dishes, selection of fine wines and seasonal cocktails. Tables of 7+ must book our Group Festive Set Menu experience. Guests dining on our Festive set menu can choose between two or three courses for lunch, available from 11:30am - 6:30pm.     I have been to Market Grill several times before but in this occasion they fell miserably short . The special Christmas cocktails which was one of our reasons for going were unavailable as they had run out of ingredients so that got off to a bad start and the person who served was terrible . Really had no idea about anything . First table we were given was so cramped two small children would hardly be able to sit at it and the second one not much better next to the toilet and in direct line of an opening door, which was cold ! All in all if that was my first experience , I would never return .

    Excellent meal with great service, only downside I couldn’t get a pint, had to buy two bottles at £7-50 each !

    Sadly not a great experience at all. They literally forgot us!! We ordered food in advance for a colleague before she arrived as she only had 40 minutes spare and we just ordered simple Squid for her. After her arriving and 40 minutes later our food had still not arrived. I had asked several staff what was happening but they seriously had no interest and we didn’t seem to have a particular waitress/waiter. She took her food away in a box later for her meeting and my other colleague and I had our food which was cold ! They said we didn’t have to pay for the food in a box. We also got free coffee- but this didn’t make up for what turned out to be a stressful lunchtime with terrible service and cold food! Won’t be going back there.

    Great food but the service let it down. Very attentive to start with and then after our plates were cleared we could barely get anyone’s attention and yet the restaurant was busy throughout our visit.

    90 minute booking took 2.5 hours as table wasn’t ready and service was extremely slow. Also out of Sunday roast on Sunday!

    After initially being seated with lots of people passing (despite specifically asking not to have this) they swiftly moved us to a much more comfortable table. The food was absolutely delicious - love the zucchini fries, son had roast chicken & it filled him up! The chicken Milanese was very tasty. Extras are quite expensive but food was worth it. Recommend the caramel chocolate bomb! It was my son’s 21st and we really appreciated the complimentary desserts/candle. He really enjoyed the whole meal & staff were very attentive - thank you! Look forward to returning soon.

    VERY DISAPPOINTED. We used to love The Ivy Market Grill in Covent Garden and took our children for a pre-Christmas treat on Sunday. The service to start was slow and it took us a while to get our bottle of wine. We had the chicken roast dinner which was ok, but we have had better food there. The disappointment was at the end of the meal when we wanted to order coffee, we were told that we needed to vacate our table as we had been seated for 2 hours (we had just spent £350 on food and drink). We understand that they need to have a certain time limit, especially when busy, but we felt our meal was cut abruptly short and we were not treated respectfully. This restaurant is an expensive affair and we felt like we weren’t treated to an experience worthy of the cost. Very disappointed

    Understandably busy but lack of personality and friendliness from staff . Also very cold as both doors were left open as people queued to get in - not ideal if you were sitting close to the entrance . Food was very average.
