The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant with a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East in a relaxed atmosphere where taking the time to "linger and share" is encouraged.

The diverse menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat & cheese plates, small plates to “graze and nibble,” and main dishes.

Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of this and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like."

    The Lazy Goat is part of the Table 301 restaurant group and offers off-site catering through Table 301 Catering and Events. Table 301 chefs work with each client to create the unique event they wish to offer their guests. With our "mobile kitchen", Table 301 can cater for two or 1,000. And the service doesn"t end with the food. Table 301 has an entire network of vendors, for everything from floral arrangements to flatware, chairs and tents. Table 301 is the best choice for wedding receptions, cocktail parties, luncheons, meetings, in home dinners and fundraising events.

    The Lazy Goat is available during the day for breakfast, lunch, and meetings. In the evenings The Lazy Goat is wonderful for dinner and seminars. On the weekends we are available for rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions.

    Thanksgiving Dinner at The Lazy Goat – Thursday, November 28, 2024 It’s an all-inclusive buffet style menu. You’ll be able to enjoy an excellent selection of starters, savory entrees, side dishes and desserts made fresh here at The Lazy Goat. We’ll be serving from 10am – 6pm on Thursday, November 28th. Reservations are highly encouraged. To make your reservations by phone, please call 864.679.5299 or make them online via OpenTable. *Please note The Lazy Goat will only be offering our Buffet Style Menu on Thanksgiving Day. We will not be offering our a la carte menu on this day.

    Starters were excellent goat cheese balls and Brussels sprout were heavenly good. V Paella and shrimp (addition) should be reviewed by head chef and enhanced for flavour quality and freshness. It tasted like out of the box and seasoning additions were out of sync ... It is the only dish I would not recommend... a poor tribute to the Spanish paella. It did not meet my Greenville cuisine expectations. The team did a nice job accommodating and working toward meeting my expectations for Mediterranean cuisine. Not sure if I would go back but would consider maybe. There are lots of great restaurants in Greenville. Thanks to the team again venue and ambience were ✅✅✅

    Probably our fourth time dining here. Our waiter was very attentive, the bar service was great, but my wife’s ribeye came out medium rare instead of medium well as ordered. We will try to remember to be more specific if we return.

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance immediately set the tone--beautiful views and a warm, inviting atmosphere made for the perfect setting. We started with the Fried Goat Cheese Honey Balls, which were absolutely delicious--crispy on the outside with a rich, creamy center, balanced perfectly by the sweetness of the honey. For the main course, I had the Lamb Ragu with Tagliatelle, and it was to die for. The flavors were so rich and hearty, and I literally cleaned my plate--no leftovers here! To end the meal, I indulged in the Goat Cheesecake. It was a delightful way to finish the meal--creamy, tangy, and absolutely divine. The service was equally outstanding. Our waiter was attentive and kept my sweet tea filled without me ever having to ask--small details like that really made a difference. I truly have no complaints. The combination of fantastic food, exceptional service, and a beautiful ambiance makes this restaurant one I'll definitely return to. Highly recommend!

    We have always loved The Lazy Goat! This experience was top tier. Our server, Connor, was so helpful with food & wine choice. A perfect place to celebrate my mother’s birthday.

    The lazy goat has again left me excited and happy! The staff were amazing and took care of us! It was our anniversary date and I had put in a special request and they met all expectations and above that. Out server was sweet and caring, definitely deserved a 10/10 review. If you want a special occasion I would 100% book the lazy goat. Shout out to the entire staff for making our night a night to remember!

    I enjoyed the Goat Balls and Brussel sprouts to start with and my Lamb Burger was ok but the Pasta Special was amazing-braised short rib bolognese with pasta. And, please DO NOT MISS THE GOAT CHEESECAKE!!!! Service was outstanding and the mixologist was great too!’n

    Love this place! Even though it was November it was warm enough to have lunch on the patio overlooking the river. They have outdoor heaters too. We enjoyed the brussel sprouts and fried goat cheese appetizers and then split the pasta special of the day with an apple arugula salad. Everything was amazing. Geronimo was our server and he was excellent.
