Just around the corner from Bath's Royal Crescent, The Marlborough Tavern combines the atmosphere of a local pub with the food quality you’d expect of a top restaurant. Two AA rosettes, and inclusions in The Michelin Guide and Good Food Guide bear testimony to the quality of both food and service. It’s no wonder it's won the Bath Gastropub of the Year title more than any competitors.

Food is essentially, though not slavishly, English in character and takes advantage of locally sourced produce wherever possible. Its food reputation is matched by their service - always friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and there's an extensive wine list and selection of local ales to choose from. The Marlborough's pub garden is arguably Bath’s finest; a walled courtyard space, that’s perfect for summertime lunching and drinking.

È una struttura veramente bella, il personale è sinceramente gentile, il cibo di ottima qualità. Stare lì seduti, davanti ad un buon piatto , cucinato con ottimi prodotti e con estrema sapienza, e ad un buon bicchiere di vino o di birra, guardando attraverso le finestre i bellissimi scorci di campagna, da calore e serenità e ti trasporta in un mondo di fantasia tipicamente britannico.

Delicious food and great service. Only complaint would be that the tables near the front door get blasted with cold air as customers come and go.

Brilliant as always. The staff at MT are outstanding. They know the menu, they know the pace needed and they know us. It’s a superbly reliable experience whether we Siri in for a quick bite or for a special occasion like this evening - thank you all so much x

We went for an evening birthday celebration failing to realise that it was a Sunday menu but the roast, wine, staff, service and ambience were fantastic.. and great value for money. Can't wait to go back.

Is a lovely Gastropub near The Royal Crescent. Staff are fruendly and professional. Been there several tikes when stsying in Bath. Good choice of food but as a non garlic llover, I should have avoided the mushroom rissoto. Their fush and chips and steak are excellent. Can be a little noisy at busy times as children and dogs there but has a happy atmosphere.

Delicious meal (venison beautifully cooked) with friendly service and a warm atmosphere. Want to keep the Marlborough a secret for it has become our go to place.
