The Mermaid Oyster Bar is a warm, friendly, casually sophisticated neighborhood meeting place for dining, drinking and socializing. We serve seafood inspired from the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean. All our food is extremely fresh. “From the sea to the table” is how we like to put it.

Happy hour daily from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. $1.50 oysters & clams, drink specials and Mermaid favorites like our fish tacos, shrimp sliders and more.

Our server MaryBeth was terrific. Gave us the right amount of attention, was polite, professional and provided us with great information about our selections. The restaurant is lovely, warm and inviting. The food was fresh and delicious. We had several different types of oysters, some clams and the fresh salmon tartare. Great romantic spot too.

Always the best oysters. The staff is the greatest from Beatriz to Jason the manager. Missed Sigal today, also great! Had and love the whole grilled branzino. Best price and taste in the city. See you soon.

We had a wonderful evening at the Mermaid Oyster Bar. We started with a dozen of the best curated oyster selection we have seen in a while. We each had one of the six options available the night we went. Each one was better than the last. Really nice. We enjoyed the tuna crudo - amazing, and the shishito peppers as well. All wonderful. For our large plates we shared the Mac and cheese and the lobster roll. And So Many Wonderfully Crispy French Fries. Yum!! Everything was fantastic and the small pot of chocolate pudding the give you for a sweet bite after dinner was spot on!

Staff was so friendly and made our anniversary dinner feel super special. The oysters were delicious and so was the salmon tartar. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!
